A Residential Care Facility for the Elderly is a licensed home that provides room, board, supervision and help with daily living for older adults. It is not a nursing home and does not provide skilled nursing care, though residents keep their own doctors and can receive visiting health services.

Yes. Caregivers are on site 24 hours a day, including overnight, so a resident is never left to manage a difficult moment alone.

Meals are cooked in the house and served at a shared table, with snacks in between. Special diets are accommodated, including low-sodium, diabetic and softer or texture-modified food, along with personal likes and dislikes.

Yes. Prescriptions are organized, given on schedule and recorded, and refills are tracked so nothing runs out. We coordinate with physicians and pharmacies, and tell families about any changes.

Families are welcome and we want them involved. Visit, call, or join a resident for a meal. We do ask that first visits and tours are arranged by appointment, so we can give you our full attention.

Care is reviewed as needs change, and we talk it through with the family rather than presenting a decision after the fact. If a resident eventually needs more care than a residential home can provide, we will help you plan the next step.
